She is the Director of Permanent Recruitment at Adecco, based in Dallas, Texas. In this role, Kallie oversees hiring efforts across the state, including Dallas/Fort Worth, Houston, Austin, and San Antonio. She leads a team of search consultants, helps them grow professionally, and supports clients across several industries.

From Ground-Level Recruiter to Regional Director

Kallie’s journey into recruitment didn’t start at the top. It started with persistence.

Her early career began at Robert Half, where she placed IT professionals in high-skill positions. She quickly gained experience in matching candidates with specialized roles, including web developers, cybersecurity analysts, and network engineers.

She worked closely with large tech firms like Microsoft and Oracle, helping them navigate complex hiring needs. Her ability to listen closely and deliver solutions earned her respect early on.

Later, at MedWorking, Kallie stepped into healthcare recruitment. She placed doctors, nurses, and medical specialists across the country. This broadened her knowledge and taught her the value of accuracy and speed in industries where people’s lives are at stake.

Before joining Adecco, Kallie also worked in business development and sales. At Go Global Travel, she created customer loyalty programs and helped the company expand its market reach. That role gave her experience in building strong client relationships—something she uses in her recruitment work today.

“I’ve always been drawn to fast-paced roles where I can learn quickly and solve problems,” Kallie says. “Recruitment is the perfect blend of human connection and business results.”

Growing Teams—and Recognition

Kallie’s impact at Adecco was clear from the start.

As a Search Manager, she focused on hiring in supply chain, manufacturing, and construction—three essential industries across Texas. She grew the recruitment team from four to eight people in under a year. With her leadership, the branch nearly doubled its placements and revenue.

In 2021, she earned the $300K Club Award, one of Adecco’s top honors. It recognized her for exceeding placement goals and driving consistent client success.

Since then, she has continued to build high-performing teams and expand Adecco’s client base across the state.

Her leadership style focuses on collaboration, trust, and accountability. She mentors her consultants to think like business owners—not just recruiters.

“When you take ownership of the results, you start thinking differently,” she says. “It’s about adding value, not just filling roles.”

What Motivated You to Join Your Company, and How Did You Choose Your Industry?

“I chose recruitment because I wanted to help people. It’s that simple,” Kallie says.

She joined Adecco because of its national reach and strong support system. “It gave me the tools to grow, both personally and professionally. And I knew I could make a bigger impact here.”

Kallie Boxell believes recruitment is about solving puzzles. “Every role, every candidate, every company is different. You need to stay curious and adapt constantly.”

What Were the Biggest Challenges You Faced in the Early Stages of Your Career?

“When I started, I didn’t know how to say ‘no.’ I wanted to take on everything,” Kallie says.

That led to burnout and long hours without results. Over time, she learned to prioritize. She focused on building a strong client base and being selective about the roles she accepted.

“It’s not about doing more. It’s about doing the right things consistently.”

What Was Your Approach to Building a Customer Base When You First Started?

“I started with trust. If I promised something, I delivered it,” she says.

Kallie knew that trust would lead to referrals and long-term partnerships. She also made it a point to understand her clients’ businesses. “I’d ask questions. I’d dig into their pain points. That way, I could offer more than just resumes—I could offer solutions.”

This approach helped her build strong relationships across industries like logistics, tech, and healthcare.

If You Could Give One Piece of Advice to Someone Just Starting Out in Your Industry, What Would It Be?

“Don’t just chase the placement. Chase the connection,” Kallie says.

She encourages new recruiters to listen more than they speak. “Understand what people really want—whether it’s a better job, a better culture, or just more stability.”

She also emphasizes the importance of feedback. “Ask your clients how you can improve. Ask your candidates how the process felt. That’s how you grow.”

Looking Ahead

Kallie continues to push for innovation in recruitment. She’s exploring new tools, data-driven hiring, and flexible staffing solutions.

She believes the job market in Texas will continue to grow—especially in fields like tech, healthcare, and logistics.

“Texas has always been resilient,” she says. “And we’re just getting started.”

Outside of work, Kallie enjoys reading, running, and cheering on her kids at local sports games. She’s also active in the Dallas community and volunteers regularly.
